Robert Woodward (Deaf Ministries Leader and ASL Interpreter) obtained 2 degrees at Florida Community College at Jacksonville: the first in Occupational Therapy (similar to physical therapy), and the second in Sign Language Interpretation for the Deaf. Robert has been interpreting (ASL) since 1996 in many different settings, and has been interpreting for St. Luke's since 2003.
While Robert also enjoys singing in the choir, he especially enjoys transforming beautiful music into a "beautiful vision" for the Hearing and the Deaf.
Robert met his husband, Don Rull, in October 2004 and they celebrated their Rite of Holy Union at St. Luke's on January 1, 2005. Their ceremony was presided over by Reverend J. Liam Seward. While in Canada, on May 25, 2007, Robert and Don were married at the "Palace of Justice" in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Together, Robert and his husband Don, work to raise their daughter, Halle, to be the best daughter in the WHOLE world!
